process
We’re driven by possibility. Whether you’re taking your first step in the industry or bringing years of experience with you, our recruitment process is designed to be straightforward, supportive and accessible.
We value your time and the energy it takes to apply. Click on each step to find out what to expect as we get to know each other.
Step 1: Apply
Once you’ve found the role that feels right for you, submit your application through our online portal. You’ll be asked to upload your resume and answer a few role‑specific questions so we can get to know you better.
Tailor your resume to highlight the skills and experience most relevant to the role as outlined in the job advert. Make sure your contact details are up to date – we’ll use them to keep you informed throughout the process.
Step 2: Phone interview
If your skills and experience match the role, one of our team members will get in touch via your preferred phone number to learn more about you and give you a chance to learn more about us.
What to expect: A friendly, informal discussion to explore your interests, skills and what motivates you. This is also a great opportunity to ask us questions about the team, the work or what it’s like to be part of Worley.
Be ready to talk about how your values align with ours and how you’ve contributed to meaningful outcomes in previous roles.
Step 3: Formal interview
You’ll meet with some of our people – either virtually or in person – to dive deeper into your experience and how you work with others.
What to expect: We’ll ask about how you solve problems, communicate with teams, and contribute to shared success. Interviews are a two‑way conversation, and we value openness and curiosity.
Come prepared with examples that show how you think, how you lead and how you collaborate. We value not only the results you’ve achieved, but also the transferable skills you’ve built along the way.
Step 4: Background and compliance checks
As a global organization working on complex and critical projects, we conduct background and compliance checks on all successful candidates. This helps us meet our responsibilities to our people, partners and communities.
We’ll let you know exactly what’s needed and guide you through each step. If you have any concerns, our team is here to help.
Step 4: Your offer
If it’s a great fit, we’ll be in touch with an offer to join the team. From there, we’ll walk you through onboarding and get you ready to start your journey with Worley.
