Worley awarded power generation engineering services contract by American Electric Power
Worley has been awarded an engineering services contract by American Electric Power (AEP) to support Stages 3–4 of the Northeastern U5/6 Simple Cycle Gas Turbine (SCGT) project. The project site is at the Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) Northeastern Generation Facility in Oklahoma, United States.
The scope includes engineering, detailed design and procurement support for a new natural gas fired power generation facility. The site will include two GE gas turbines with a combined capacity of approximately 450 megawatts, supporting reliable electricity generation for the United States.
The work will be delivered under Worley’s existing professional services Master Services Agreement with AEP and will be led from Worley’s Reading, Pennsylvania, office, supported by teams in India, Louisiana and Houston.
