Worley and George Gordon Developments partner
to deliver lasting impact

Wicehtowak Worley to create opportunities for George Gordon First Nation, strengthen Indigenous partnerships, and expand our reach in Saskatchewan, Canada.

We’ve launched a new limited partnership with George Gordon Developments Ltd. (GGDL) – Wicehtowak Worley – to deliver fabrication, construction, procurement, and subcontracting services across Saskatchewan, Canada.

This partnership is part of our broader reconciliation journey and reflects a shared commitment to building respectful, long-term relationships with Indigenous communities. GGDL is playing a leading role in shaping the partnership’s direction and community engagement.

Together, we aim to create meaningful employment, training, and business opportunities for George Gordon First Nation members, while expanding our ability to support customers who prioritize Indigenous inclusion.

Our relationship with GGDL began in 2022, when we partnered to secure a significant mining construction project. Since then, we’ve expanded our work together, providing jobs and mentoring for George Gordon First Nation members, and onboarding GGDL suppliers and subcontractors.

“This partnership is a bold step toward long-term prosperity and Indigenous leadership in industrial construction,” said Don Ross, CEO of GGDL. “Together, we are creating lasting opportunities and building capacity for the George Gordon First Nation.”

“This LP is another formal demonstration of our commitment to reconciliation and creating shared value,” said Tim Burnham, SVP, Worley Canada Construction. “I’m proud of the partnership and outcomes we’ve delivered already and excited for what’s ahead.”
