SABIC Geleen portfolio: Outstanding long-term partnership
For over 30 years, SABIC has entrusted Worley with the delivery of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) services across their expansive 880-hectare Geleen site. The partnership with SABIC is particularly significant due to our shared commitment to sustainability. Our collaborative efforts are exemplified with the SABIC Plastic Energy advanced plastic recycling unit in Geleen, which will significantly increase production of SABIC’s certified circular polymers from their TRUCIRCLE™ portfolio.
Project overview
Our team of over 130 people has delivered a total of 3,045 projects and 1,120k work hours, with an average of 20 percent GID workshare. Our role extends from concept studies to realization, providing flexible support for technical, maintenance, and turnaround projects. Our multi-office execution approach, with support from our offices in The Netherlands, Belgium, India, Spain, the UK, Germany, and Worley Consulting, ensures that we meet SABIC’s diverse needs.
